“I have been the most religious person since I was two years old. I always felt this crazy connection to God,” says Heidi Montag, 21, who identifies herself as “kind of a non-denominational Baptist.”
Montag — who just released her latest single “Fashion” and frequently reads the Bible — says she once planned on devoting her entire life to God as a missionary in Africa and now wants to record a Christian rock album.
Despite Jesus’ teachings of peace, love and forgiveness, Heidi Montag says that rule likely won’t apply to her relationship with Lauren Conrad.
Of her former BFF’s claim that she spread those nasty, dirty Lauren Conrad sex tape rumors last year, Heidi Montag says only this:
“God knows the truth, and at the end of the day, that is the only thing that matters. Jesus was persecuted, and I’m going to get persecuted, ya know?”
NOTE: We were going to do a Tale of the Tape matching up Heidi against Jesus Christ, but lo and behold, we already did that in 2007!
As for the new season of The Hills (the first of 19 episodes debut August 18), Montag says viewers will get to meet her older sister, Holly.
It was Holly Montag who coined the name of Heidi’s newly-launched clothing line, Heidiwood, as sort of a take on Hollywood! Cool, huh?
And, as for traveling to Africa, Heidi and fiance Spencer Pratt will reportedly head there in August to “feed children and help build things.”
