Clueless Paris prepared speech for Harvard Lampoon award

It was supposed to be a highly sarcastic comment on the naiveté of posh socialites ruling the national psyche, but Harvard Lampoon’s Woman of the Year award to Paris Hilton backfired big time in the organizers’ face as their staff not only took the heiress out clubbing after the botched ceremony, but the crowd also seemed more interested in seeing and mimicking the hot Hilton than mocking her faux award as was originally intended. Paris, for her part, played the humble awardee, to her best, even going through the painstaking effort of writing a speech for the occasion. Not that any of it ever rose above non-sensical gibberish with phrases like “an international icon meets countless people everyday, and all you people came all these blocks just to see me.” Lampoon had, earlier hoped that Paris “doesn’t… start doing the math” and figure out why her name was below other celebs like Scarlett Johansson and Catherine Zeta Jones. At this point we’re just wondering who should be made the butt of all jokes: Paris or Harvard! P.S. check out Paris’ speech, it’s very “becoming” of her!
